Can-Oat Milling
Recognizing an opportunity in the great demand for oat production in the 1990’s, Rykon became a founding partner of Can-Oat Milling, once one of North America’s largest oat producers. As industrial property developers, Rykon led the development and construction of three plants—including the flagship facility in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba—as well as executive management of operations. By leveraging industry partnerships and a proven versatility in tackling a range of projects, Rykon was able to build, open and scale up a successful oat manufacturing business now owned by Richardson Milling.
